Most schools have funded their programs through their own school funds. Money's allocated ranges from merely subsidising student travel and expenses of trek to paying for a series of significant and highly skilled presenters to address students on topics such as:

• violence and anger management
• conflict resolution
• power of mind
• anger, emotions and drugs
• becoming a man and not just acting like one
• trust and risk taking (through high ropes course)
• goal setting
• self-image
• relationships (boys, girls and relationships)

One school also sourced funding from outside the school through Quota International. Other community groups may be willing to provide financial support for schools.
